Dr. Olu Owoeye is the vice president (research) of ARCaR Centre Inc. He is
a Clinical Research Scientist currently undergoing a Post-Doctoral
Fellowship at the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre, Faculty of
Kinesiology, University of Calgary. He has more than 20 Peer-reviewed
publications which can be found in major sports medicine journals,
including the prestigious British Journal of Sports Medicine and the
Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He has over 6 academic
and professional awards and distinctions.
Dr. Owoeye serves as a Journal Reviewer for top orthopedic and sports
medicine journals including the British Journal of Sports Medicine,
American Journal of Sports Medicine, Plos One, Rheumatology International,
International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, South African Journal of
Sports Medicine and The Nigerian Journal of Postgraduate Medicine. His
non-profit activities include acting as a current President for the Move
and Play for Health Initiative.
